What's the difference between test and production agents?

Test agents are sandboxes for building, configuring, and trying out AI agents — unlimited on every plan. Production agents are the published version your end users actually talk to over WhatsApp, email, Instagram, or in-app chat. Only paid plans can publish a test agent to production or push updates to a published one. If you downgrade, your already-published agents keep running on the free quota — you just can't publish new ones or update them until you re-upgrade.

What happens when I hit my operation limit?

New conversations will be paused until the next billing cycle. Existing active conversations can continue. You can upgrade your plan at any time, or — on the Team plan — add a Growth Pack to increase your limit.

Can I switch plans at any time?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

What's the difference between admin, support, and hub users?

Admin users manage your organization and hubs — they configure agents, channels, and billing. Support users are your team handling conversations alongside the AI — they reply to end users when the AI hands off. Hub users are the end users the AI talks to (customers, leads, employees). Only admin users count toward your seat limit — support and hub users are unlimited and free.

Do I need a credit card for the free plan?

No. The free plan is fully functional with no credit card required. Upgrade when you're ready.

What does "bring your own API key" mean?

WayAI doesn't charge for LLM usage — you connect your own API key from providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google and pay them directly. This gives you full control over model selection, rate limits, and costs.

What format are Pro community sessions?

Office hours run weekly for 2 hours, live with the WayAI team — ask anything about your hub setup, agents, or production issues.

What language are Pro community sessions in?

All Pro community sessions run in Portuguese. Office hours also support English questions when you need to bring an English-speaking colleague.
